WHY WIDE WIDTH SHOES?
We surveyed 900 women and over half told us they needed a wider width shoe. Often this is because when shoe companies design their footwear, they focus on how it looks (slim and pretty) rather than how it fits. We design footwear that looks stylish but feels great too! Our shoes are crafted with an elegant aesthetic, but have a wider toe box (with a standard fit elsewhere) to offer extra space where needed, and additional comfort features to ensure feet feel happy and healthy. We offer comfort without compromise; we call it Comfort Redesigned.
ABOUT OUR SHOES
Our shoes are predominantly manufactured in Spain, by master shoe makers, We use bespoke Lasts (shoe moulds) that have a wider fitting toe box to ensure that our shoes have a little more space at the front of the shoe to enable feet to relax and maintain a more natural shape without feeling squeezed.
Our shoes, all made in a wider or extra wide width, are unique. Designed to provide extra width where needed, they offer real comfort, not just for an hour, but for the whole day. This means you can wear our comfortable, elegant wide fit shoes for work, for a wedding or formal event, or simply as a comfortable yet stylish everyday shoe.

Sargasso & Grey is a luxury British shoe company, founded by a women who has wide feet and decided she had enough of having to choose between stylish shoes and comfort shoes. For over a decade we have been designing and creating exquisite wide width shoes for women who have wide feet, bunions, or who simply need a wider width shoe to give a little more comfort.
